Stumbled across your site while looking for info on an HF net that I ran across. Hope to work you on the air one of these days!

Andy:
Great info on mobile matching. I currently do a lot of mobile HF and I can run with the big dogs because my antenna is properly matched and is 11 feet high. Thanks for the good and absolutely spot-on info. I cant tell you how many hams I run into who just don't get it when it comes to matching...they just adjust their antenna for best SWR and think all is good. Even now at the solar minimum I get good DX in the mobile.
Take care and hope to catch you on the air

Well written and excellent information; my interest was the 160 meter antenna to fit small areas.

Listening to you and the East Yorkshire guys on 3779. BIG signals, and really intersting to see how you designed and build the station... Well done!
