I really enjoy practical antenna designs that do not cost a fortune to build. I have an English piblication "More Out of Thin Air" antenna theorey, design, and construction and feel that it is very helpful. World Radio Books also publishes a $12 book call "The Esay Way" HF Anetenna System by J.M. Haerle which is excellent for new and seasoned amateur radio operators. The USA approach seems to be throw a lot of money at antennas and of course this works if you have the money and land for such projects. However many hams do not have hugh budgets and large lots.
